Keep Your Life Clean
Hebrews 4:12 AMPC declares, “For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.”
God’s Word is active, alive and full of power. His Word will expose, sift, analyze and judge the very thoughts and purposes of the heart. Keep the ground of your heart clean. Psalms 24:3-4 NKJV
[3] Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? [4] He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.
Keep your hands clean and your heart pure. Keep your character clean. Choose not to gossip about the failures or shortcomings of others. Choose to cover. Choose to Love. Choose to direct hearts back to Christ.
“And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? How can you think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye.” Matthew 7:3-5 NLT
