The Glory To Be Revealed

“‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
[18] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to  be  compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

The sufferings, trials or tribulations of this present world is nothing when compared to the Glory that is to come. All the sickness,  pain, misery,  disappointments, poverty,  mistreatment,  sorrow, persecution, and trouble of any kind will be totally insignificant when compared with the blessing, privileges, and Glory that will be given to the faithful believer IN CHRIST. In context, Romans 8:18 refers to the coming of Jesus Christ and the reward that we will receive when we are in Heaven. While it is true, when we get to Heaven — we will receive a great reward. Additionally, this scripture can be applied to our Earthly reward, for our obedience, while we are here on Earth.

When you surrender to Christ, the sufferings or persecutions or pressure that you face is nothing in comparison to the Glory, or the reward that God gives you for being His Child. God rewards the faithful. God rewards the diligent. God rewards those who diligently trusts, surrenders and places their hope in Him. The sufferings or persecutions that you face for being a Child of God is nothing when you compare it to the Promises that God outlines in His Word.

Romans‬ ‭8:18‬ ‭AMPC‬ declares, “[But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us!” ‬Let God confer His Glory on you. Let God confer and declare His Goodness over you. Let God shine His Light through you.

Don’t worry about the temporal things of this world — choose to honor God.  Choose to do those things that glorify God. Choose to submit to God. Choose to declare that He is Good. He is Faithful. His Love is Everlasting. “Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.” Romans‬ ‭8:18‬ ‭NLT‬‬
