Choose to Love
II Corinthians 5:18 NKJV
[18] Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,
We are to be ministers of reconciliation. Reconcile them back to Christ. Let your actions reflect the Love of Christ.
John 12:32 NKJV
[32] And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.”
In its proper context, John 12:32 is referring to the crucifixion of Christ. Jesus was referring to His death. If He was to be “lifted up”, or crucified on the cross, then He would draw all men unto Himself.
Applying this scripture as a Kingdom principle, as Christians, if we lift up and exalt Christ within our daily conversations, deeds, actions, and lifestyle, then He will draw all men unto Himself. Reflect the Love of Christ in every aspect of your life. As ministers of reconciliation we are to lift up Christ. Choose to lift up His Word. Reflect the Love of Christ. Let God draw men back to Himself.
The foundation of reconciliation is Love. Do you remember the story of the “Prodigal” son and his father? In Luke Chapter 15 the Father was waiting for his son to return home. Although his son had left, and recklessly spent all that he had, the Father was waiting in anticipation for his son to return back home. The Father’s Love was recklessly waiting to embrace his son. Let God’s Love call the wayward back home.
Let Love reconcile sons back to the fathers. 1 Peter 4:8 AMPC declares, “Above all things have intense and unfailing love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins [forgives and disregards the offenses of others]. [Prov. 10:12.]” Let the Love of God reconcile wayward hearts back to the Father’s arms. Choose to show the Love of Christ in every area of your life. Choose to Love.
