Let The Past Go

Isaiah 43:18 NKJV
[18] “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.

Do not remember the former things. Forget the past and spring forth into the new. Step forward into everything that God has for you.

According to Strong’s Concordance the Hebrew word for the phrase, “Remember” is, ‘zāḵar’ (H2142) which means, “To recall, call to mind, to be brought to remembrance, be remembered, be thought of, be brought, to mention, to record, to make a memorial.”

Remember not the former things and step into everything God has for you, for your steps are ordered by the Lord. Don't recall the former things. Don’t think about the former things. Don’t exalt the past. Step into the new thing. Step into His New Thing for you.

The world has not seen what God has placed inside of you. For what’s inside of you is greater than your past. For there isn’t a pattern set—you are the blueprint.

You are the forerunner. There isn’t a path that’s been blazed. Run your race. Carve your path. You are the first. You are one-of-a-kind and there will never be another like you.

Your fingerprint is unique. Your signature is unique. There is no one like you. For you are fearfully and wonderfully made. There is none like you. For every gift, every witty idea, invention, and instruction that God has deposited into you—was crafted for you.

Don't remember the former things and focus on the new. Focus forward as you step out into the new. Take the territory. Look not to the left or to the right—know that God is with you. Know that God is for you. Know that God is behind you. He is your Rearguard and Battle Ax. Don’t let the past stop you. He’s got you covered.

The mountain is yours for the taking. The territory is yours for the taking. Dominion is yours. Stretch forth your hand. New land belongs to you. It’s time to soar. It’s elevation season. It’s time to spread your wings.

New beginnings are yours—for it is your inheritance. This is your new start. Now is the time to spring forth. Don’t hang on to the past. Remember not the former things. Now it shall spring forth.
