What Are You Waiting For

[19] Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.

Behold, I will do a new thing. God wants to do a new thing—through you. He wants to use every skill, gift, talent, and ability to introduce a new thing to the world.

Now is your season. Now is your time. What gift, skill, talent, and ability has God placed inside of you? What has God placed in your heart to release to the world? The world is waiting for you to take the next step.

The world is waiting on your obedience. They're waiting for you to submit to the Lord. The world is waiting for your gifts, skills, talents, and abilities. Now is the time to emerge from behind the scenes. Your gifts will bring you to the forefront. It’s time to step forth. The world is waiting to see what God has deposited inside of you.

For Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NKJV ‬‬ declares, “To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: [2] A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted;” Every skill, gift, talent, and ability has a time and season for its deployment.

For Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭22‬ ‭NKJV ‬‬ declares, “For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.” The world is groaning for what God has deposited inside of you. The world is travailing for your gifts to be released to the world. Your gifts were meant to be birthed. Your gifts, skills, talents, and abilities were not meant to stay stagnant. May you obey God’s Voice and do what He’s Called you to do.

For Proverbs‬ ‭10‬:‭4‬ ‭NKJV ‬‬ declares, "He who has a slack hand becomes poor, But the hand of the diligent makes rich.” Slack produces a lack. Excuses produce a lack. What excuse is holding you back from pursuing God's Promise for you?

What excuse are you using not to deploy that gift, skill, talent, or ability? Whether in the boardroom, classroom, in business, in government, or in ministry, your obedience ministers to the world.

Take that first step. Your faith transforms the world. Humble yourself before the Lord and submit to His Authority. Your diligence, consistency, and discipline spark faith in others. Don’t let slack keep you from pursuing everything that God has for you.

Your gifts were not meant to stay stuck. Gifts and talents were meant to be multiplied. The measure of skill, gift, talent, and ability that God has placed inside of were meant to be deployed in the world for His Glory and the exaltation of His Son, Jesus Christ.
