He Is Not Here
Mark 16:6 NKJV
[6] But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.
He is not here. Jesus Christ rose from the grave so IN HIM you can live. Jesus Christ rose so now IN HIM you can have power. Jesus Christ rose from the grave so IN HIM you can have authority. Jesus conquered death, hell, and the grave so that IN HIM you can have victory and dominion. Mark 16:6 declares, that the grave that once was filled with a crucified Jesus — now it laid empty — because He rose. He conquered the grave so now IN HIM you can conquer every area of your life.
There is no grave that can hold Christ down. Death could not tie him down. Death could not defeat Him — Jesus Christ is Lord over all. He is King over all. His Authority outranks all. His Throne has no beginning or ending. His Authority has no beginning or ending. He rules, He reigns, and He has all Power, Authority, and Dominion in His Hands.
In Mark 16:6 AMPC, notice what the angel said to the visitors when they approached the grave of Jesus, “And he said to them, Do not be amazed and terrified; you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, Who was crucified. He has risen; He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.” Do not be terrified. Fear not — there is no fear IN CHRIST. God has power over fear. There is no anxiety IN HIM. Jesus Christ restores hearts and heals every heartache. He heals every form of disease. He heals every form of infirmity.
When you are IN CHRIST, the bondage of depression can not hold you down. When you are IN CHRIST, the spirit of heaviness cannot keep you bound. There is no bondage IN HIM. There is no condemnation IN HIM. He rose in victory for the glory of His Name. Because He rose you have deliverance IN HIM. Because Jesus Christ rose IN HIM you are free.
