Prepare to Climb

Identify your mountain(s) and study your “climb”. Education examines paths that have been created by others who have gone ahead of you. Education examines and studies the ways that already exist — God creates and directs new and uncharted paths. God gives you insight as to what has not been done — yet. God’s way supersedes man’s process and platform. The Earth is the Lord’s, let God lead you. Let God give you His revelation. He wants to do a new thing in you and through you. ‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
[9] But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

When you study the field that you’re called to, you will begin to learn, observe, and internalize the principles, patterns and precepts of that particular field. Education prepares you to lead. There's nothing wrong with education but you must be willing to submit your education to God.
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3:5‭-‬7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
[5] Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; [6] In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. [7] Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil.

Put your trust in God not your education. Discipleship involves learning God's way and submitting to God. Discipleship prepares you to steward your gifts properly. When you are presented with an opportunity to execute what you’ve learned, posture yourself to become a good steward of the knowledge that God has given you. God can present the platform but it’s up to you to execute. You were created for this.

Joseph went through a training season before he led an economy. Moses went through leadership development training before he led millions. David was anointed as king but he still went through a process. David was educated and trained before he held the position as king.

You may be called, you may be gifted and anointed for a position, but discipleship and submission prepares you for the role. Education, both formal and informal, can be involved but we must depend on the Lord not our formal education.
Proverbs‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
[7] Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.
