Created For This

‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭8:18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
[18] “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it  is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it  is this day.

You were created for this. You were created to honor and glorify God through your gifts, talents and abilities. 3 John‬ ‭1:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ states, “‭‭Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” God desires that your natural life prospers “even as” your spiritual life prospers. God desires that you are strengthened in all areas of your life. Let God feed and strengthen your spirit “even as” you develop your character, diligence and work ethic.

According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Even as” is, ‘kathōs’ (G2531) which means, “Just as, in proportion to, in the degree that.” God desires that your natural life prospers “Even as” or “in proportion to” your spiritual life prospers. 3 John‬ ‭1:2‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ describes it this way, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.”

God uses discipleship a tool. Discipleship prepares you to pursue your purpose IN CHRIST. Discipleship is a tool that helps you to identify, develop, groom, and sharpen your God given skills, talent, gifts and abilities. Through discipleship, God builds your character and teaches you how to steward your gifts wisely. Through discipleship and submission, learn to excel in  your spiritual gifts.

Let God lead you through your process. Discipleship is a weapon that God uses, through you, to impact and transform the world. Let God use your intelligence to shift the world. Remember, God created you and gave you your intellect and intelligence as well as gifts and talents. According to 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:23‬, we are spirit, soul and body: “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” God desires to use you and to prosper you in every area of your life. God gives gifts freely but mastery requires diligence.
