He First Loved Us

“We love Him, because He first loved us.” 1 John‬ ‭4:19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Love”, used in 1 John 4:19 is ‘agapaō’ (G25) which means, “To welcome, to entertain, to be fond of, to love dearly.” We love Christ because, He first loved us. Choose to welcome Christ in every area of your life. Choose to welcome Christ in every area of your heart. Choose to submit and surrender every area over to Him.

Who do you love more than God? What do you Love more than God? What do you welcome in your heart? Do you spend more time focusing on your career than you do worshipping God? Do you worship your business more than you honor God? Do you worship your family more than you trust in God? Do you love or welcome the things of this world more than God’s Way of doing things? Choose to love God because He first loved us. 

God loves you deeply. In fact, He loves every part of you. He created you. He formed every facet of you. He created every aspect of your personality. He created every aspect of your heart. He created every fiber of your soul. Choose to love Christ. Choose to place Christ as priority in every season of your life. 

Let Christ lead your character. Let Christ lead your career. Let Christ lead your business. Let Christ lead your ministry. Let Christ lead your home. Let Christ lead your family. Let Christ lead every aspect of your life. He vehemently cares about you and He loves you deeply. There are no words that can articulate how much God loves you.
