Watch Your Tongue
“Watch your tongue and keep your mouth shut, and you will stay out of trouble.” Proverbs 21:23 NLT
Let God lead your language. Let God transform your heart. Let God lead your path and give you good success — His Success. When you follow Christ — He will guide your footsteps and break you free from the carnal ways of the world. Let God heal your heart. Let God transform you. Let God lead the words that come out of your mouth.
Ephesians 4:29 NKJV says, “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.” The righteous choose to guard the words that they speak.
In fact, Proverbs 18:21 NKJV declares, “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.” Choose to sow into others. Choose to sow grace. Choose to sow mercy. Choose to sow life.
Your words can heal. Your words can lift up others. Your words can encourage. Your words can minister into the lives of others. Surrender to Christ and let God use your words to lead, build, and restore others.
Proverbs 16:24 NKJV says, “Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.” Choose your words wisely. Let wisdom lead you. Let grace lead your actions. Let mercy guide your decisions. Choose to follow Christ.
