Go

“Go” does not mean to launch out and to wander around aimlessly like a nomad doing whatever you feel like. Your gift does not give you a license to “Go”. Look at the context in which Jesus commands us to “Go”, in Matthew‬ ‭28:19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬, “Go therefore, and make disciples.” “Go” implies to handle yourself with wisdom. “Go” implies submission to both God’s Authority and also man’s authority that's ordained by God.

In ‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭18:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬, David’s “Go” was given by king Saul. David was under the authority of the king's commission. According to 1 Samuel‬ ‭18:5‬ ‭NKJV, David went in and out among the king’s people with wisdom, “So David went out wherever Saul sent him, and behaved wisely. And Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people and also in the sight of Saul’s servants.” It is important to always submit to God’s Way of doing things. Understand His Authority and learn how to handle yourself with wisdom amongst the people.

Yes, you are going to teach, lead, serve and instruct nations, but first, you must learn to submit and serve God. Learn to serve His people in wisdom. A nomadic leader, a person who just wanders around aimlessly, lacks character, discipline and is unstable in all of his ways. “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” James‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬. Before you can be in authority you must first be under authority. Choose to submit to God's authority.
