Time To Sow

“Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous;"
Genesis 26:12‭-‬13 NKJV

According to Strong’s Concordance the Hebrew word for “Sow” is, ‘zara’ (H2232) which means, “To sow, scatter seed, or to become pregnant.” When you sow, you are depositing or investing your skills, talents, abilities and resources into others. When you sow, you are strategically scattering your seed into others. Choose to sow into good land. Choose to strategically and consistently sow and you will reap a continual and consistent harvest. Sow as God leads you. Sow as God tells you. Remember, your harvest, your increase and your promotion comes from God. He is the Lord of the Harvest.

Genesis‬ ‭26:12-13‬ ‭says that Issac sowed into “that” land, and received in the same year a hundredfold. Interestingly, when Isaac strategically sowed into “that” land, he reaped a hundredfold. When you sow, choose to be led by God. Isaac was on an assignment led by God. He was on a God-given journey. As Isaac obeyed God, and submitted to God’s Instruction — God caused Isaac to prosper. Issac sowed willfully. Issac did not sow grudgingly. Issac did not sow with bitterness. Issac chose to sow. Issac chose to obey God. Choose to obey God.

According to Genesis‬ ‭26:13‬, Issac prospered, and as he went forward, the Lord caused Issac to grow until he became very great. Keep moving forward. Keep sowing. Keep building. Keep obeying God. Let God order your steps. Let God order your path.

Joshua‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ declares, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” As you faithfully obey God and continual meditate on His Word, God will make your way successful. He will make your way prosperous. Sow faithfully. Sow willfully. Obey God and He will shine His Light on the diligent work of your hands.
