Freedom. It's a Choice
“Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."
II Corinthians 3:17 NKJV
Freedom is a choice. The Amplified Version expounds on 2 Corinthians 3:17 AMPC, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom).” For the Lord is Liberty—He emancipates us from the sting and bondage of sin.
Christ humbled Himself for you. For John 3:16 NKJV declares, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” He loves you. No matter your sin, no matter your past, Christ loves you and He wants to set you free.
For John 10:10 NKJV declares, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Christ wants you to have a fruitful and fearless life. While the enemy wants to steal your peace. The enemy wants to steal your joy. Satan wants to kill your destiny.
In fact, John 10:10 AMPC declares, “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” Christ came so that you might have life. He humbled Himself so that you might live. Live life to the full—for Christ has set you free.
