Whom Will You Serve?

“And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Joshua 24:15 NKJV
It’s your choice to either serve God or the bondage of the past. Entanglement is a choice. Bondage is a choice. There is a way out. There is a way of escape. You have the choice to embrace Truth — God’s Word. Or you can surrender to the lusts of the world. Joshua declared, “You choose this day who you will serve.” Worship is a choice. You can choose to worship the gods of the past or you can choose to worship the True and Living God. Choose to worship God.
When you choose to worship the gods of the past, you’re choosing to stay stuck in the wilderness of the past. The children of Israel stayed in the wilderness way longer than they had to. Don’t stay stuck in the desert. Christ is the Way out of the wilderness. Your heart does not have to stay stuck in the past. Your heart does not have to stay stuck in the desert. Let His Word guide your heart. Let His Word lead you. Let the Power of the Holy Spirit set you free.  “So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.
Zechariah 4:6 NKJV
