Crucify the Flesh

"And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with
its passions and desires."
Galatians 5:24 NKJV
Those who are IN Christ have killed the things of the
flesh. The New Living Translation expounds upon
Galatians 5:24 NLT in the following manner, "Those who
belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and
desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified
them there."
Nail your past to the cross. Nail the old patterns and past
habits of the "old man" to the cross. According to
Strong's Concordance, the Greek word for "Crucify" is
'stauroo' (G4717) which means,
"To stake or to drive
down stakes." Choose to drive your past down with
stakes. Choose to crucify your flesh. May you follow the
Principles and Precepts of God. Crush your sin. May
Christ crush the weight of your past forever.
May the Word of God light every corner of your heart.
May the Living Word of God breathe new life into every
area of your life. "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh
profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit,
and they are life.
