Luke 11:9 NKJV
[9] “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  
Why do we need to pray to the God who is all-powerful and all-knowing? If something  good needs to get done, won’t the good Father take care of it, whether we ask Him to or not?
Even Jesus told us to keep our prayers short and sweet, for the Father knows what we need before we ask. If the Father does indeed know what we need, then why does Scripture encourage us to ask for bread and mountains to move?
One of the paradoxes of our Father’s kingdom is that He invites us to relentlessly ask for what we need while cultivating contentment with what we already have.
If the Lord’s Prayer (Matt 6:9-13) is to be followed, we, based on Jesus’s own words, ask the Father for what He already knows we need. We'd rather it be one or the other: either give me what I specifically ask for in prayer or grant me the release to just pray, “Your will be done.”
But if we’re honest about Jesus’s example, we know that we don’t get the luxury of either/or. We must, once again, embrace the tension of non-dual thinking. Just like Jesus modeled in the garden (Matthew 26:36-44), with blood leaking from His pores, we must be specific (“let this cup pass”), surrendered (“not My will but Yours be done”), and steadfast (He prayed these words three times).
Any great prayer is one that is SPECIFIC, SURRENDERED, and STEADFAST.
Whether our prayer is a bold ask or simple surrender, it must be anything but vague. The Father can do a lot with an imperfect prayer, but a vague prayer doesn’t do much for anyone. A big part of bringing our requests to the Father is that it creates opportunity for us to better understand His nature.
In Luke 11, we’re told that God responds to our prayerful petitions because of the Honor of His Name, and He gives us even more than what we ask for. He is Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and the tension created in and through our petitions opens our eyes to the reality of who He is.
We ask in prayer to become aware.

Proverbs 4:26 NKJV
[26] Ponder the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established.
When it comes to prayer, an area where we can open the conversation is our thought life. We spend a lot of time thinking. In fact, we spend more time processing stuff in our heads than we spend forming words with our mouths.
We’re learning more and more about the power of the mind and its effect on the visible world, but even thousands of years ago, Solomon wrote, “Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure.” The Hebrew word translated “PONDER ” could also be translated “MAKE LEVEL.” In other words, right thinking leads to good living.
Romans 12:2 NKJV
[2] And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Scripture tells us to renew our minds so that we can be in tune with the mind of God. It also tells us to take every thought captive to obey Christ. Practically, we do this by surrendering our thoughts and feelings to God, in prayer. When we do, cares and worries become requests; lies bow their knee to the Truth; fears and insecurities transform into cries for help and moments of faith; thoughts of inadequacy reform into acknowledgments of dependence; feelings of joy become triggers for thanksgiving; and the list goes on.
I Thessalonians 5:17 NKJV
[17] pray without ceasing,
It would, after all, be impossible to function while hiding in a closet or kneeling at your bedside all day. This is one of the reasons why prayer, to so many, seems impractical and something that only monks or people with their backs against the wall do.
Should we have dedicated times for prayer? Absolutely. Jesus both told us to do so and modeled this way of life for us. But Jesus also lived in tune with the Father, in a way that is only possible when one’s consciousness is in tune with and directed by the  Holy Spirit.
God’s aim is for integration, and mature prayer involves all our words, including those formed in our hearts and minds.

Hebrews 10:24 NKJV
[24] And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,
There is one Church, one Body of Christ over which Jesus Christ is the Head. Choose to love one another. Choose to be selfless. Choose to serve others. Choose to give. Choose to love unto good works. When God gives you influence, authority, power, and might—choose not to withhold good, access, influence, promotion, enlargement to those whom it’s due. It’s due season. Often God uses people to bless others through the work of your hands. Choose to open doors that were once closed.
Choose to do good to others. Give to others. Sow your gifts. Sow your talent. Serve others. Build the Kingdom

I Corinthians 13:1 NKJV

Love leads. Love serves. Love builds. Serve through Love. John 3:16 declares,

Though you speak with the tongues of Heaven and all the languages of men—service without Love is bondage. Service without love is obligation. Service without Love is slavery. Serving others through love is the gift of freedom. Choose to serve freely. Choose to give freely.
The Spirit of the Living God will clothe you in Love. The Spirit of the Living God will lead you through Love. The Spirit of the Living God will direct you. The Lord is with you and you will not be lack. You shall not be defeated.
Psalms 34:10 NKJV

[6] Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.

James 1:16-17 NKJV
[16] Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. [17] Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
James begins his exhortation with a warning about deception. And what does he describe as its antidote? The revelation of God’s goodness. Everything that is good, James says, comes from the God who is always good.
Now, James doesn’t say most good gifts are from God. He says every good and perfect gift comes from God. This means, regardless of appearances, there is nothing good for us outside of God’s will. It doesn’t matter how good or sensible something looks, how happy or successful it makes us, how spiritual it appears, or how accepted it may be. If it is contrary to God’s will, it will bring sorrow to our lives in the end.
If we believe this, then we need a better source for our standard of good. We can’t rely on human wisdom or popular opinion. We need something we can depend on to direct us toward what pleases God. And in the Bible, we have that source.
Joshua 1:8 NKJV
[8] This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
II Timothy 3:16 NKJV
[16] All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
As Joshua and 2 Timothy tell us, it is in Scripture we find the revelation that leads to what God calls success. Scripture teaches us what is true and shows us what is right so we don’t fall for a counterfeit form of good.
God has revealed His character and His will in His Word, accessible to anyone willing to seek the truth. That’s why I’m so excited you’ve committed to reading the Bible daily as part of this plan. This is not about sharing any man’s wisdom. It’s about connecting you to God and the truth in His Word.
Choose to make the Bible not only part of your life but the authority in your decision-making process. Choose to turn to God's Word for all of life's dilemmas.

Philippians 3:14 NKJV
[14] I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
What is your ultimate goal?
We make goals for our careers or finances. But it is your ultimate goal that determines your direction in life. Like the GPS on a smartphone, it directs you toward a set destination—even if you think you’re headed somewhere else. (Anyone who arrives late because they followed their GPS to the wrong address can relate LOL)
So what is your goal? Is it popularity? Achievement? A certain lifestyle? Health? Happiness?
Most of us would like all of these things, but what desire outweighs everything else?
We are all singled-minded in pursuit of something. To use Paul's language from Philippians 3:14, everyone is pressing toward some goal.
We could be pursuing something we would deem noble or good.
Remember that Judas left all he had to follow Jesus. He too preached the kingdom of God. He healed the sick, gave to the poor, and got people free. Judas is in hell.
Judas was the disciple who betrayed Jesus to His death. He attained what most good church people strive for but ended up lost.
Choose not to be in the same category as Judas
Try finishing Paul’s sentence: “I’m pressing toward…”
How did you fill in the blank? Is that a good goal, or could the appearance of good be concealing an error? If you need to reset your goal, what do you think God wants it to be? We've established that the Bible is the authority on what is or isn't good. What does it say our greatest desire should be?

Hebrews 11:24-26 NKJV
[24] By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, [25] choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, [26] esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.
Moses was an Israelite raised as a privileged prince in Egypt. He had the best of everything, but he wasn’t satisfied. Something inside Moses told him he couldn't attain his true desire where he currently resided. He chose to leave his place in the most affluent nation on earth because he was after a greater reward.
What was this reward? Moses himself didn’t know at first. It wasn’t until forty years after he left the palace that he met God and experienced His presence. (Exodus 3.) Once this happened, Moses’s goal was set. We can see what this goal was by looking later in his story.
In Exodus 33, Moses has led Israel out of Egypt. This is a stressful time for him. His national approval rating is low, and the desert he and the people are traveling in is full of challenges. Wandering in the wilderness doesn't seem any better than slavery in Egypt. However, the people have a hope: Canaan, their land of promise, a place God has said is overflowing with abundance.
Now God has instructed Moses to take the people into this land. He's declared there will be a mighty angel to guide them and drive out their foes. There's just one catch: God Himself will not go.
Exodus 33:15 NKJV
[15] Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with  us, do not bring us up from here.
Moses’s reply is mind-boggling. In essence, he tells God, “If I have to choose between Your presence and Your blessing, I’ll take Your presence.”
This was Moses’s great reward. Nothing mattered more to Him than knowing God intimately.
Can the same be said of us?
Do you even know what it means to be in God’s presence?
The passion for God that Moses possessed only comes from experiencing His presence for yourself. God wants us to experience Him! James 4:8 says He draws near to us when we draw near to Him. We do this by praying, worshipping, and reading His Word, not as obligations but because we’re pursuing a relationship with a Person.
Seeking God Himself is what protects us from the temptation of lesser pursuits, including those that seem good on the surface. Choose to make intimacy with Him your greatest goal!

Hebrews 12:14 NKJV
[14] Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:
Holiness. Mention the word and watch people recoil. Many reject the idea of holiness because it might put a damper on life. To others, it seems to be an aspect of legalism. If you bring up the subject, you’ll often hear, "Well I’m living in God’s grace.”
The New Testament concept of holiness is nothing like these assumptions. It’s a magnificent, desirable way of life. But lately it’s really misunderstood.
Hebrews 12 challenges our assumptions about holiness with the revelation that holiness is what positions us to see God.  If being in God's presence is really our goal then why would we want to avoid the thing that makes it possible? This is why we are encouraged to “pursue” it, which means to chase after with the intent to apprehend.
Thayer’s Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament says holiness is to be “set apart for God, to be...exclusively His.”
Before we entered into covenant relationship with Jesus, we were of this world. We pursued status, reputation, and anything else that served our selfishness. But everything is different now. We’re God’s people, and we’re to be set apart for Him. We’re called to be exclusively His.
Not only that, but because we belong to God, we’re also called to live in a new way. Another definition of the Greek word for holiness describes “pure, sinless, upright” behavior.
This aspect of holiness scares some people, but it shouldn’t. God hasn't abandoned us to achieve a righteous lifestyle on our own. He’s given us everything we need.
Choose to pursue holiness. Cast off fake holiness that only leads to legalism. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal His Truth to you. Discover an intimate relationship with God unlike any other you've ever known.

I Peter 4:10 NKJV
[10] As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 
There are unique capabilities we receive from God to equip us to accomplish our specific missions. 
The finest woodworking craftsman in the city would never have been discovered if he had no tools. You would never have known who Michelangelo was if he never had access to a chisel, brush, or paint. 
Is the same true for our divine callings?
Yes! Peter writes, “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God” (1 Peter 4:10 NKJV). Much is revealed in this one statement, so we should examine it carefully. Notice that Peter writes “EACH ONE ” has received a gift. He did NOT say “each minister,” “each pastor,” “each worship leader,” or any other oracle ministry gift, but rather “EACH ONE.” 
If you are born again, you have a gift or gifts that have been imparted and entrusted to you. These gifts were either given at birth or later, through impartation by God’s Spirit. In regard to these different gifts, Paul tells us, “Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body” (Romans 12:4). 
It’s pretty simple but very revealing, when you consider your own body. Think about it; our fingers can do things our nose can't. Our nose can do things our ears can't. Our ears can do things our stomach can't. Our stomach can do things our liver can't, and the list goes on. 
We are one body IN CHRIST and members individually. And that’s why each of us must accept and embrace our own unique giftings. The main point: Happy and blessed is the person who knows their gifts and operates in them. Miserable and stressed is the person who tries to operate in someone else’s gifts.

Matthew 25:19-21 NKJV
[19] After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them. [20] “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’  [21] His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’  
What is faithfulness? The common responses I’ve received have been loyal, committed, consistent, reliable, and steadfast. All these are true and accurate definitions . . . but there’s a word Jesus associates with faithfulness that I rarely hear. 
MULTIPLICATION
Remember the parable of the talents. The master entrusts three different servants with unique gifts, each according to their own ability. Two of them went out and multiplied what was given to them and, as a result, they’re called FAITHFUL. 
The master says, “You have been faithful.” You can look at it whichever way you’d like, but the word that is attributed to their multiplication is faithful. Jesus directly credits faithfulness to multiplication. 
The third servant buried his talents and is called lazy. The lazy servant is severely punished. No true blood bought, born again, follower of Jesus wants to be seen as lazy. I certainly don’t, and I’m sure you don’t either! When my time is up, I want to hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” 
We have one life to live, to give it everything we have. God has given each of His children unique gifts to build His kingdom—but it’s up to us what we do with them. We can neglect them (like the lazy servant), use them for selfish gain, or use them to build the Kingdom. 
Choose not to settle for the status quo. Desire to finish well. Choose to resist comfort over calling.
You’ll never be truly satisfied in life until you take your unique God-given gifts and multiply them for the benefit of others.
Luke 16:12 NKJV
[12] And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?

Proverbs 6:6 NKJV
[6] Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise,
Consider the ant. What a powerful example the Bible uses to explain “practical wisdom” through the work ethic of an ant. The Bible uses this seemingly small, natural example to unpack life altering, generation shifting spiritual principles that shift and challenge the life course and destiny of our families. 
Consider the ways of the ant—wisdom. When you lead a life patterned after wisdom, even in the small things, you will lead a life full of success. Think about it. The Bible uses one of the world’s smallest creatures—the ant—in order to demonstrate how to apply practical wisdom in our everyday lives. 
The ant, seemingly small but rigidly consistent, disciplined, and diligent, tackles every obstacle without excuse. Look at the ant's size. Though small in stature, the ant overcomes, seemingly insurmountable obstacles and harvests without excuse. Almost everything in its world is larger than this creature and yet the ant diligently executes and gathers without excuse. The ant finds a way. Wisdom finds a way. When confronted with obstacles, wisdom diligently innovates and tackles each assignment without excuse. 
Notice in Proverbs 6:6 KJV, the Bible uses the word: ‘Consider’, “...consider her ways, and be wise.” According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for ‘Consider‘ (H7200) means: “to look at, inspect, or perceive.” When you consider, inspect, look at and study The Word of God, and apply its principles, you will obtain God’s results in every area of your life. Take each step in faith knowing that God is with you and He will guide and direct your steps. Trust Him in all seasons.

Habakkuk 2:2 NKJV
[2] Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.
What are you doing for the Kingdom? What vision has God given you? Why haven't you acted upon it? 
What’s your excuse? Develop a practical daily diligence plan. Write down the vision and take small practical steps everyday towards accomplishing the vision. Habakkuk‬ ‭2:2‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ states, “And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by.” Write the plan and start the work! “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin...” Zechariah‬ ‭4:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬. 
Excuses will keep you paralyzed. Present and surrender your work and plans to the Lord and He will cause your actions to succeed. (Proverbs‬ ‭16:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬) Fear will immobilize and imprison your Destiny. Keep executing. Keep moving. Keep progressing towards the vision that God has assigned to you.
God has placed gifts, talents, resources, witty ideas and inventions inside of you that He wants to see flourish through you. God delights in your diligence. Your obedience gives Him Glory. When you surrender your gifts, talents and abilities over to Him, God will order your footsteps and guide you into everything that He has prepared for you even before the foundations of the world. Trust God and take a step of obedience. Write down the vision and take steps towards accomplishing what God has placed in your heart to pursue. 
Move forward and release past hurts and failures of the past. Release lazy behavior and slothful thinking. God has given you a fresh start. Move forward with what God has Called you to do. Favor is already prepared as you execute and move forward in obedience. 
There is favor waiting for you. Step forward in obedience. There is a new thing that God wants to birth out of you. However, the birthing of your “new thing” requires your obedience. Submit to God. Humble yourself before Him. Move forward and innovate — the world is waiting on your obedient and diligent execution. 
Obey God and birth out something new. “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah‬ ‭43:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Pursue that God-given vision when God gives you His “Go”. Submit to His Word. When God releases His Word, for you to “Go”, His Grace and Favor is attached to His Word. 
Partner His Word with your obedience. Move forward and you will find favor, you will find success, you will have more than enough. This is your “Go” season. Go and harvest the land. Bring in what God has promised you and your family. 
Break generational cycles of stagnation, lack and poverty. When God releases His Word, “Go”, then it’s time for you to accomplish that vision that He has given you. His Word is more than enough. 
Favor is attached to His Word. According to Proverbs‬ ‭21:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬, “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord....” As you “Go”, God will lead, redirect, and soften the hearts of kings and turn their hearts in your favor. Kings are those who are decision makers and people of influence. Kings have the authority and power to turn your ‘no’ into a ‘yes’.  God has already prepared the way. He has already prepared the hearts of kings to turn in your favor. 
God has favor prepared for you—as you obey Him. Obey God and Go. It’s time to fill your storehouse. When the ant provides meat in the summer, it harvests food (or stores resources) when they are at its disposal. The summer represents our “opportune” time. Now is your opportune time. 
Gather your harvest. Obey God. Follow His Word, be led by His Holy Spirit and you will eat the good of the land. Choose not to sleep or slack on your assignment. It’s time to work—Go. 
Isaiah 1:19 NKJV
[19] If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land;

Proverbs 6:9 NKJV
[9] How long will you slumber, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep?
Today’s obedience will impact tomorrow’s success. Your obedience will become the starting point for the future. Your steps of obedience today, will not only set the course of your Destiny but will also establish the trajectory of generations that follow after you. 
Your seed and the success of future generations weigh in the balance of your obedience and diligence today. It’s your choice to sleep or to reap. Will you choose to prepare for the future or will you remain stagnant? 
It’s your choice to either propel your family’s Destiny into unprecedented heights or stay stuck in the wilderness for another generation. You are the cycle breaker. Your success is tied to your obedience and diligence. Obey God and choose to uncompromisingly obey His Word. 
Surround yourself with wise counsel, mentors and those who wholeheartedly follow God’s Word and will hold you accountable to fulfilling your Destiny. Join a community of believers that chooses to seek God and choose not sleep on their Destiny. When you choose to sleep on your God-given talents and idly sit on God-given opportunities, you’ll forfeit your Destiny and stunt the trajectory of future generations. 
As you obey God and move forward in your purpose, you will shift the course of your family’s lineage. When you slack and choose not to complete your assignment, you’ll keep your family bound to your stagnation. Your disobedience stagnates others. 
Seek God. Pursue Him. Don’t sleep on your assignment. It’s not too late! If you’re stuck or if you feel like you’re going in cycles, simply repent and turn to Him—God will change your course, propel your Destiny and set you on the right path—His path.
Blaze a path for the future. It’s a new day. Turn to Him.

Proverbs 6:10 NKJV
[10] A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep—
Harvest requires  a lot of work. When you are pursuing everything that God has for you, obedience, diligence and discipline are key ingredients to your success. There’s a huge difference between being busy and purposefully executing in obedience. 
As you strategically work towards accomplishing your God-given assignment, take time to rest. Rest is strategic. Rest is needed. Rest is purposeful. Rest is a choice. Choose to strategically rest after you’ve accomplished a major goal or crossed a significant milestone. 
Use these resting periods as moments to celebrate your wins and to reflect upon the lessons you’ve learned. Use resting periods as a strategy to refresh, reflect and reboot. DON'T  ABUSE REST. When you abuse these periods by either not resting enough or resting too long, you begin to stagger at pursuing the promises of God and you begin to shift out of His timing. His timing is strategic. 
Remember, you’re running a marathon and you’re not rushing into a sprint. Train your body, your skillset and work ethic to execute in sync with what God is saying. Let God lead your path. Stay in tune with what God is saying through His Holy Spirit. Submit to His Purpose and to His timing for your life. 
Take time to pause, reflect and strategically reset. Don’t rush God’s timing... His timing is perfect. “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all that He has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Deuteronomy 30:15 NKJV
[15] “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, 
Fix your focus. Stay diligent on the task and assignment at hand. Stay fixed on accomplishing what God has set in front of you. Run your race. Choose to remain diligent even in the small things. 
There are lessons you can learn in every step and in every misstep. Regroup and adjust your strategy as needed and you will overcome barriers and generational obstacles. 
If you choose to remain stagnant, by not adjusting or correcting your course, you’ll keep your family bound by the mistakes of your past and you’ll keep your family stunted at the place where you were too stubborn and refused to grow. 
Apply correction even in the small things. With every adjustment that you choose to make today, you will shift the trajectory of your family’s course and destiny for generations to come. Choose to make the shift and catapult your family into an unprecedented future. Break the cycle. It’s your choice.

Romans 13:11-12 NKJV
[11] And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. [12] The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. 
Paul begins with one command:
“Wake up… cast off the works of darkness.” (Romans 13:11–12)
Some folks are awake physically but spiritually sleepwalking — eyes open, heart on autopilot, soul drifting.
Ever open a storage unit you haven’t touched all year? Boxes stacked to heaven, random stuff you forgot existed, old clothes, broken tools, Christmas décor from 1997, and that one box labeled, “KEEP — REALLY IMPORTANT,” but you have no clue what’s inside.
You stand there thinking, How did all this junk get here?
Your heart’s the same way. Junk piles up when we’re not paying attention — attitudes, habits, resentments, compromises.
Paul says: Wake up. Open the door. Throw out the garbage.
Psalms 139:23-24 NKJV
[23] Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; [24] And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.
I John 1:9 NKJV
[9] If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 
Trying to fix spiritual problems with worldly solutions is like trying to patch a sinking canoe with duct tape.
It might float for a minute…but you’re going swimming.
Only Jesus heals.
Only Jesus restores.
Confession isn’t punishment — it’s maintenance. It’s the daily rinse-cycle of the Christian life.

Psalms 32:7 NKJV
[7] You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah
We can’t know God as our “hiding place” until we come to the place of total dependency, weakness, and humility. The psalmist knew that. He wrote from a place of trust, clinging, and dependency. “You preserve me from trouble.” "Preserve" is the Hebrew word "natsar (H5241)" which Strong’s Concordance defines as: to guard, to protect, to maintain ...... When we realize our need for God’s protection and covering, we recognize that He is our only hiding place and that we can abide under the shadow of His wings, under the shelter of His protection. When we walk in this reality, we experience safety and security, just like the psalmist.
The truth is, we are vulnerable in this world outside of God. So many things are out of our control. At any moment, we could suffer loss, be struck by tragedy, or diagnosed with a deadly disease. It’s only because the Lord is our hiding place that our life is preserved in such a dangerous existence.
This doesn’t mean that we’ll never have any challenges or suffering but I don’t think any of us really has any idea how many troubles God has already protected us from and preserved us in. God loves you today. As you abide IN CHRIST and endure in faith  know that Father God truly is and will be your hiding place. As Psalm 91 says, “Psalms 91:1-3 NKJV
[1] He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. [2] I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” [3] Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence."
Even when things get intense choose to remain IN CHRIST and abide under His covering.

James 1:5 NKJV
[5] If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
If you lack Wisdom—ask God. If you’re deficient in a particular area—simply ask God for Wisdom. Husbands, ask God for Wisdom on how to lead your family.
Parents, ask God for Wisdom on how to lead your children. Employers, ask God for Wisdom on how to lead your team. Ask God for Wisdom as it pertains to any area of your life.
The Amplified Version expounds upon James‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭AMPC‬‬, “If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him.” God gives Wisdom liberally. God gives Wisdom to those who ask.
“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.” James‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬. Frequently ask God for Wisdom. God does not rebuke you for asking. Ask and continue to ask. Ask God to lead you in every season. For our God liberally gives Wisdom to anyone who ask.
The Message Version expounds upon James‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭MSG‬‬, “If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it.” ASK GOD FOR WISDOM.

Proverbs 4:7 NKJV
[7] Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.
Wisdom is the principal thing. The New Living Translation expounds upon Proverbs‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬, “Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment.”
Get Wisdom. Get good and sound judgment. Seek God. Surrender to His Counsel. Ask God for Wisdom for every aspect of your life.
The Amplified Version puts it this way, “The beginning of Wisdom is: get Wisdom (skillful and godly Wisdom)! [For skillful and godly Wisdom is the principal thing.] And with all you have gotten, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation).” Proverbs‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭AMPC‬‬. And with all you have gotten, get understanding.
Let the Wisdom of God lead your decisions. Let His Wisdom guide your thoughts. Let His Wisdom frame every aspect of your life. For Wisdom is the foundation and principal thing.
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for, “Principal” is, ‘re'shiyth’ (H7225) which means, “First, beginning, best, chief, choice part.” May Wisdom serve as the beginning and choice part of your life.
May every area of your life honor God. Choose to put God first. May He serve as the Principal and Chief Cornerstone of your life.

“For whoever finds me [Wisdom] finds life and draws forth and obtains favor from the Lord.” Proverbs‬ ‭8:35‬ ‭AMPC‬‬
Seek out Wisdom and you’ll find favor. Draw from the Wisdom of God and may He lead and direct your path. Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Let Wisdom lead you.
The Amplified Version expounds upon Proverbs‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭AMPC‬‬,‭‭ “Take firm hold of instruction, do not let go; guard her, for she is your life.” Take firm hold of Wisdom and let God’s Instruction lead your footsteps. Wisdom is the APPLIED Instruction of God. Take firm hold of His Word and APPLY Wisdom to every part of your life.
